Technical difficulties?
Indeed. Which is too bad, because it was a superb show. But several fine tunes there to enjoy.
Suzanne is teaching four online classes now, and weekends are crunch times, so, with the desktop booked, we have been unable to listen via live-stream. Freedom (Jazz Dance) will reign once a laptop is purchased...
During this short “break in the action,” so to speak, I’ll bring your attention to a renowned use of jazz in the theatre. Here is a link to a description:

I was not lucky enough to experience it, but Lepage does remount things, so there’s hope. Or maybe a dvd of a performance exists somewhere.
That's good to hear. Laptops going for good prices these days. Couldn't open that link because it require a NYT subscription.
Dig.
I don't have a subscription. Alternative: do a search using keywords Robert Lepage, Miles Davis, Needles, Opium and Gussow. If that doesn't work, I'll send you a hardcopy version of the article.
