Thanks, Ken. I had a blast! Just a note: Tim Berne had to cancel due to a family emergency. Trombonist Ray Anderson will now be performing with Ombak as the featured artist. Read all about it here: http://rvane.ws/25068
That's quite a replacement, Dean! For those reading this blog, Ray Anderson is an excellent trombonist and has quite a fine discography. My favorite is is Blues Bred In The Bone from 1988, which I've played on the show.
Probably won't be doing the show Sunday because we're totally snowed in.
You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
This is the show opened by "Soft Blue," right? Very cool! The whole opening set, in fact. (No disrespect toward the rest, just no time to focus on it.)
You have really great taste on catch article titles, even when you are not interested in this topic you push to read it
