Marcus Strickland is deep/difficult, I can respect that. RFAR selection not too my taste, unable to judge it. You were charitable enough to start a conversation about it.

It was the instrumentation that made it worth entering, not necessarily the record. The record as a whole is rather mundane. But what do I know, I was voted down!

My weakness/blind spot. Similar situation: Usually I cannot appreciate good acting in a weak play or film. Enjoyed lots of the show, as usual.
